Authenticity is present in every scene, Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer’s  natural writing effortlessly capturing the essence of Latino culture and familial bonds. The intricate details of a Latino home, from the vibrant decor to the cherished picture frames, plants, and vivid dishes, add layers of authenticity. The director, Angel Manuel Soto masterfully infused all of this culture into the narrative and visuals, enhancing the experience. Interview with the director of the movie, Angel Manuel Soto

We’re thrilled to unveil an exciting collaboration between the NEW YORK LATIN FILM FESTIVAL and LATV, joining forces to support the highly anticipated film BLUE BEETLE.

Our esteemed host, Eliana Reyes, had the privilege of conducting an interview with the director of the movie, Angel Manuel Soto.

Prepare to be amazed – Blue Beetle takes center stage as the inaugural Latino Superhero. But that’s not all – the script, crafted by the accomplished Mexican writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, and the predominantly Latino cast combine to create a truly authentic depiction of Latino culture.

“This is a privilege, an opportunity that I don’t take lightly. I understand how much this means to a lot of us, and the reason for that is because it means a lot to me. Not only to be able to film a movie in latino spaces, to bring a movie to Puerto Rico, filmed with the people that I grew up with and helping to give back to the community…,” shares Angel Manuel Soto with Eliana Reyes.
