Brittany Mahomes’ glamorous Chiefs party takes a wild turn as she admits hours of screaming and ‘bad words’

Brittany Mahomes started Sunday night with a polished pregame party inside Arrowhead Stadium. A few hours later, the glamorous atmosphere had given way to screaming, nerves and language she jokingly felt required an apology after the Kansas City Chiefs survived the Indianapolis Colts 33-30 in overtime.

The night started with a glam suite

Before kickoff, Brittany teamed up with hair-care brand Divi and its founder Dani Austin Ramirez to host a glam suite for Chiefs WAGs. Photos shared from the event showed Brittany and other guests getting ready before watching the game from the Mahomes family suite. Brittany, who works with Divi as the face of its Growth Care hairsprays, appeared alongside Austin Ramirez and other women connected to Chiefs players.

But the relaxed pregame mood didn’t survive four quarters of football. Kansas City and Indianapolis needed overtime to settle the game, and Brittany later revealed just how intense the experience became from inside the suite. Addressing Austin Ramirez on Instagram, she apologized for making her listen to her “scream and say a lot of bad words” for several hours.

Patrick Mahomes gave her plenty to scream about

The tension came with good reason. Patrick Mahomes, continuing his return after suffering ACL and LCL injuries late last season, completed 32 of 47 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns. Kansas City eventually escaped after Harrison Butker connected on a 40-yard field goal in overtime. The victory moved the Chiefs to 2-0. )

Brittany’s final reaction was considerably shorter than her night. She posted a view of the celebration at Arrowhead and summed it up simply: “That was a game wow.” What began as a beauty event ultimately became a reminder that even from a luxury suite, watching your husband quarterback an overtime NFL thriller apparently isn’t particularly relaxing.

Taylor Swift was there, but somewhere else

One famous Chiefs WAG was notably absent from Brittany’s pregame glam gathering. Taylor Swift attended the game but was not pictured at the event, instead watching from the Kelce family suite. Cameras caught her celebrating after Travis Kelce scored a 13-yard touchdown, while Kelce finished the night with nine receptions for 101 yards.

For Brittany, however, the transformation of the night told the better story: glam before kickoff, screaming by overtime and finally relief when Kansas City walked away with the win.
