Love was in the air as Argentine singer Nicki Nicole and Mexican corridos tumbados sensation Peso Pluma stole the spotlight at the Grammy Awards last weekend. The couple openly showed their affection both on and off the red carpet, leaving their fans enchanted.
Just a week ago, Peso Pluma, whose real name is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, shared a series of sweet, romantic pics of himself with Nicki on social media, with the caption, “With you, everything is fun.” Nicki responded by saying, “I love you, Hasan! My love,” accompanied by three heart emojis.

The pair were among several exclusive guests at the annual Grammy pre-gala party, held in Beverly Hills. Decked out in glamorous attire, Nicki and Peso Pluma graced the red carpet, capturing the attention of photographers and fans alike. The couple radiated joy and affection, sharing kisses throughout the night, making them one of the most talked-about celebrities of the evening.
The celebrations continued the following day after Peso Pluma secured his first Grammy at the 66th awards ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Nominated for Best Mexican Music Album for “Génesis,” the Jalisco native’s win is a significant milestone not only for his musical career but also for Mexican music itself.
In a conversation with Billboard, Nicki Nicole beamed with her pride at her boyfriend’s success, stating, “I’m very proud that he won, he deserved it very much, and I love being able to accompany him today.” Nicki then took to her Instagram to dedicate a story to him. “Congratulations, my love, the first of many. I love you. Peso Pluma, happy to see you happy,” she gushed.
Just as how they had turned heads at the pre-gala, the lovebirds’ fashion at the awards show was also on point. Peso Pluma wore a tailored Louis Vuitton suit with graphic patterns and black flared pants while Nicole looked stunning in a floor-length light blue satin gown.
Throughout the night, Peso Pluma couldn’t resist expressing his love and admiration for his beloved Nicki. When asked “Who is the next person you say ‘okay, I wanna do something for them’?” by Entertainment Tonight, he responded, “The person I’m standing next to,” referring to her.

“We are celebrating now with my beautiful girlfriend. She looks amazing”, he added, a sentiment that he also shared with Rolling Stone Magazine. Likewise, when Telemundo asked who he dedicates the award to, he replied with a heartfelt, “To her.” He then went on to talk to Billboard before becoming distracted by Nicki, who was standing behind the camera. “I’m very happy to live my first Grammy with my beautiful girlfriend, Nicki Nicole,” he said. “Aplaudan a la reina,” he exclaimed as she walked towards him.
It’s hard to say what the future holds for the young couple. While abruptly dismissing any immediate wedding plans due to their age, Nicki dropped hints about their future together, which included her desire to start a family with Peso Pluma one day. And with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, she has also revealed that they are working through their busy schedules to make sure the day will be special. “That is something we are planning because sometimes it is very difficult with the dates, but the truth is that I would love to spend it with him, obviously,” she shared.
