While much is known about his musical career, the details about his family remain relatively private. Here is what we know about them:

Peso Pluma´s Parents

Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija was born on June 15th, 1999, in the municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. Both of his parents were born in Mexico. His family from his mother’s side were residents of Badiraguato, Sinaloa, while his father has Lebanese ancestry and was born in Chiapas.

His parents’ identities and occupations remain unknown to the general public. Peso Pluma has acknowledged that he grew up in a musical household and his parents had a major impact on his musical tastes due to the music they listened to during his childhood.

Coming of age in Guadalajara, Peso Pluma started playing the guitar at the age of 15 by learning from online video tutorials. Though initially mocked by his peers, he began composing tunes in a personal journal.

Peso Pluma’s Cousin

Soon enough, he was interpreting songs by the Mexican singer Ariel Camacho, and writing music alongside his cousin, Roberto “Tito” Laija. Jesus Roberto Laija García is a singer and composer, originally from Tepic, Nayarit, but raised in Culiacán, Sinaloa. He is Peso Pluma’s cousin on his maternal side and the author of most of the singer’s hits, including “El Belicón,” “AMG,” “El Gavilán,” “Sembrando,” “El Hechizo,” “Las Morras,” “PRC,” “Chanel,” and “Siempre Pendientes.”

Recently, Tito decided to launch his career as a soloist. On Peso Pluma’s album, Génesis, the artist collaborated on two songs – “Gavilán II” and “La people” – under the nickname Tito Double P. The composer recently got together with another reference of corridos, Luis R. Conriquez, for the song “Dembow Bélico.”

There is little to no public information on whether Peso Pluma has any siblings. However, TikTok user Pelonoscar19 claims to be his brother.
