Global football superstar Lionel Messi has expanded his maritime interests by commissioning a custom eighty eight foot luxury catamaran from renowned builder Sunreef Yachts. Currently under construction at the manufacturer modern shipyard in the United Arab Emirates, the vessel represents the cutting edge of multihull naval engineering;  the standout feature of this custom craft includes innovative fold down side bulwarks that open directly over the water, creating an expansive private beach club atmosphere along the stern.

Transformative Ocean Lounge design and water-level living space

The signature architectural highlight of the Sunreef Ultima 88 centers on its adaptable Ocean Lounge concept positioned at the rear of the vessel; by lowering the lateral hull platforms, the catamaran instantly expands its usable deck area over the sea, establishing an open air private terrace. This specialized design provides seamless access to the ocean for swimming, water sports and sunbathing, offering unobstructed ocean views while maintaining complete structural stability at anchor.

High performance engineering and interior layout specifications

Engineered for superior cruising efficiency, the superyacht is powered by twin one thousand horsepower engines capable of delivering impressive oceanic speeds. The internal layout accommodates four spacious guest staterooms alongside a full beam master suite designed for total privacy; and aditional structural amenities feature a dedicated jet ski garage, an elevated flybridge lounge, multi purpose outdoor relaxation zones, and dedicated space for physical training equipment.
