LATV’s Get It Girl hit the red carpet premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us to chat with the cast and creators about adapting the hit video game series for TV.

Taking place in an alternate 2023 where human civilization has been ravaged by mind-controlling fungal infestation, the show is centered around Joel (Pedro Pascal) a smuggler who helps a young girl named Ellie (Bella Ramsey) who may be the key to ending the pandemic. The post-apocalyptic drama also features Latino leading roles for actors Pedro Pascal and Gabriel Luna.

The Last of Us is now streaming on HBO Max along with other Latin centered shows like Los Espookys.
