Who are the Latin artists set to perform at Coachella 2024?

Coachella 2024 promises to be an electrifying event with a lineup that’s filled with Latin and Spanish-language talent at the forefront. From April 12th to 14th and April 19th to 21st, music fans will meet at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, to witness performances that cross genres and cultures.

This year’s headliners include Tyler, the Creator, Doja Cat, and Lana Del Rey, with the added excitement of Gwen Stefani reuniting with No Doubt after nine years. However, it’s the Latino artists who are set to steal the spotlight.

Mexican corridos tumbados singer Peso Pluma, fresh off his rise as the 5th most-listened-to artist last year, returns to Coachella. After a surprise appearance alongside Becky G in 2023, Peso Pluma is set to command his own stage on April 12th and 19th.

Friday’s lineup features Puerto Rican upcoming star Young Miko and Argentine hitmaker Bizarrap, marking his debut in the US general market festival scene. As the mastermind behind Shakira’s “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” he may also bring Young Miko on stage with him to sing “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 58.”

Ice Spice, the Grammy-nominated Nigerian-Dominican rapper who skyrocketed to fame with her remixes, will reclaim her spot on the Coachella stage. Meanwhile, Brazilian singer-songwriter Ludmilla vows to deliver the infectious rhythms of Brazilian funk for her very first performance at the festival.

Colombian sensation J Balvin makes a come back to Coachella, having first captivated the desert audience in 2019 with his smash hit “Mi Gente,” alongside Beyoncé. He also appeared as a special guest for Karol G’s set in 2022.

Latin Mafia, a trio of brothers hailing from Mexico City, will take the stage after garnering a devoted following with their indie, R&B, and reggaeton hits. Girl Ultra, also from Mexico City, will add her soulful flair to the festival.

Santa Fe Klan, known for his unique blend of Mexican rap and hip hop, promises an unforgettable performance. Equally pegajosos are the Afro-Caribbean grooves of Cuban singer-songwriter Cimafunk, who is redefining contemporary Cuban music with his fusion of funk and soul.

Joining the lineup are Hermanos Gutiérrez, an instrumental band from Switzerland formed by two Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers, and Son Rompe Pera, a Mexican fusion band rooted in cumbia with a twist of various genres.

Eddie Zuko, a young Chicano hip-hop singer from California, known for his reggae-infused Spanglish tunes, will perform on Sunday, as well as Carin León, the Mexican folk singer from Hermosillo and Latin Grammy winner.

Last year’s groundbreaking headliner, Bad Bunny, paved the way for Spanish-language artists at Coachella. Other Latin artists who’ve performed throughout the years include Banda MS, Grupo Firme, DannyLux, Nicki Nicole, Nathy Peluso, Café Tacvba, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Los Ángeles Azules, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, among many others.

Coachella 2024 promises to be a celebration of Latin culture and music like never before!
