“I met her and she became my friend instantly. She’s that kind of person. You see her in interviews, where she’s funny and approachable, and she’s really like that. She brings Colombian treats to set, and then she just gives you treats every day, all the time. And she wants to work on the team. She’s not only la jefa in the story, but she’s la jefa. She was so generous. She wanted to do great and to work hard for everybody. She was very committed to doing an amazing Griselda, and I think she did it. She’s incredible in the show. She’s amazing,” Julieth raved about Sofia Vergara.

Addressing the intensity of her role as Martha Ochoa, Julieth revealed that she was pregnant during the shoot, making her performance extra challenging. Despite the demanding nature of her character, she emphasized the joy and fun she experiences when portraying roles that are vastly different from herself. “I hope she doesn’t get all the bad habits that Martha has, not her drug dealing. But what I do hope is that Lucia, my daughter, is that she can see her mom and can think about her making her dreams come true.”
