Daddy Yankee: his farewell tour, numbers and last show at Baja Beach Fest

It was in July of this year when Daddy Yankee, after the announcement months before, officially began his farewell tour. The reggaeton player born in Puerto Rico decided to retire from music but first organized a series of concerts that are still taking place. Among them, he will be at the Baja Beach Fest that is taking place this week.
The singer, who has been developing his musical career for more than 32 years on different stages around the world, announced it in March 2022: he organized everything to carry out his farewell tour that will include -in total- around 85 dates in different cities and that it is projected to end in early 2023. The five-month tour, promoted by Cardenas Marketing Network and Raphy Pina, MR Sold Out, includes cities in North America and Latin America. And it will have three performances in his native country, on January 6, 7 and 8 of next year.
He is one of the most influential Latin artists on the reggaeton and urban music scene, so the news has a hint of nostalgia, especially for his followers. His farewell tour began in the United States, with a concert in Denver before 20.000 spectators. The concert opened with one of the songs that came from the last album “Legendaddy”, a work of 19 songs with great collaborations, and it was a great success.
