Trueno reveals what keeps him connected to Argentina wherever he goes

There are levels to being Argentine, and Trueno has apparently reached the one where losing your mate can ruin the day but watching Boca Juniors lose is still worse. Asked to choose between the two, the rapper does not hesitate. The mate can stay home. Boca cannot take the L.
It is a funny answer, but it explains Trueno better than a traditional biography could. His identity is built from rituals, loyalties and the kind of passions that do not come with an off switch. Football, family, hip-hop and Argentina are not separate parts of his life. They all show up in the music.
Five words and no room for a boring answer
That is the idea behind LatiNation’s Five On It, which challenged Trueno to define himself through five words. “Xeneize” leads directly to Boca. “Matero” brings him back to drinking mate with his mother. “Turrazo” becomes his definition of someone from the barrio who has confidence, instinct and enough discipline to chase a serious dream.
Then there is “rapper,” the word that ties everything together. Trueno chose that identity as a kid and never treated hip-hop as just a genre. For him, it is how you speak, dress, compete, build something of your own and keep moving when the path is not obvious. His admiration for Tupac comes from that same place.
Trueno joked that he arrives alone, but that is not really how he sees it. Every international stage also gets Boca, his father, his band, his barrio and Argentine rap. Watch the full episode to discover the five words behind Trueno, then try describing him in five of your own.
