That ’90s Show’ Finally Coming to Netflix

That ’90s Show’ Finally Coming to Netflix

There’s a That ‘70s Show spinoff coming to Netflix called That ‘90s Show. Ever since That ‘70s Show’s popularity surged due to it being offered on Netflix when little else was available to us except breadmaking and Tiger King, Netflix has been playing with the idea of a new series that throws things back to a simpler time.

The news came from Deadline that Netflix had officially given the green light to the That ‘90’s show a spinoff of That ‘70s show. Millennials will probably cringe a little at the news, not because we all loved the show which originally aired on FOX, but because now this new generation is the one being thrown back to.

Undoubtedly, just like all other Netflix reboots, like The Addams Family reboot Wednesday, there are very very high expectations especially considering That ‘70’s Show gave us, some of our favorite A-list celebs like Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, and one of our favorite Latino actors Wilmer Valderrama.

That ‘90s Show Cast

The other true stars of the previous series Red and Kitty Foreman played by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp are confirmed to be in That ‘90s Show playing their same characters. The two actors are also going to be the executive producers of the series. While there’s been no confirmation of the rest of the gang joining the project, it seems very likely that we will see some of the original cast in some way on the new show.

There is still no That ‘90’s Show Netflix Release Date. Given that there have only been 10 episodes greenlit for the That ’90s Show Sesaon 1  we don’t have any information on when the series could hit streaming, but some speculate we could see it around this time next year.

That ‘90’s Show Netflix Trailer

You’ll have to keep checking in with LATV for the official That ‘90s Show Trailer and That ‘90s Show teasers, so we’ll keep an eye out.

That ‘90’s Show Diversity

Given Netflix’s now very public commitment to providing opportunities to diverse creators, we can expect that this series will be more than just about a white suburban family and we’re hoping to see some Latino flavor. After all, in the ‘90s, Latinos ruled pop culture in a different way. So we can’t wait to see some hoop earrings, acid wash jeans and bangs.
