Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and icons like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem were in charge of entertaining during the Pepsi HalfTime Show. Hearing-impaired rappers Sean Forbes and Warren ‘Wawa’ Snipe also shared the stage with the big California stars. See some of our favorite moments!
Up in a kind of mobile home arranged on the playing field, in which Los Angeles The Rams had taken the lead before the break, the first to go on stage was Snoop Dogg, with the emblematic song “Next Episode.”
Then Dr. Dre began to play the piano with the intro of “Still DRE.”

The female representation of the performance was by the one and only Queen R&B, Mary J Blige.

The secret was out with the performance of 50 Cent, an artist who made viewers sing with “It’s Your Birthday” (while being upside down) in a censored version of his music video.

Social media users called the performance an iconic moment, celebrated by fans of American rap.
“The best Halftime Show in history,” said LeBron James, a Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, who was present in one of the SoFi Stadium boxes to witness the NFL grand finale.
The Super Bowl returned to Los Angeles for the first time since 1993, in the third year of collaboration between the NFL, Pepsi and Roc Nation, the company of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z.

- Dr. Dre has been a part of the music industry since 1985. Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg followed in 1992, and will celebrate 30 years on stage this year. Eminem has been rapping, writing and producing since 1996, and Kendrick Lamar has been thrilling rap fans since 2010.
- The five artists have collectively sold more than 623 million records. 122 million Spotify users listen to their music every month, and their YouTube channels have more than 33.6 billion views combined.
- The five artists’ music archive includes a total of 58 studio albums, plus countless collaborations and features. Music nerds claim that Snoop Dogg is the artist with the most features worldwide: he is said to have collaborated in more than 1,200 songs.
- Eminem has released a total of 11 studio albums in his career and sold more than 359 million records. His most successful album is the legendary The Marshall Mathers LP from 2000. All his albums combined have been streamed more than eleven billion times on Spotify.
- Without Dr Dre, the stage would be empty tonight. He has been instrumental in the careers of Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and most recently Kendrick Lamar. Dre is one of the most successful hip-hop producers in the world with a fortune of around $820million US dollars.
- Kendrick Lamar’s career has also rocketed: in the 12 years since his debut, he has sold 114 million records. 10 million fans regularly listen to his music on Spotify.
- Accolades: Kendrick Lamar has 13 Grammys, Mary J. Blige has 9 Grammys and Dr. Dre has also won 6 of the most important US music awards. Meanwhile, Eminem has an Oscar (“Lose yourself”) and Snoop Dogg has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
