Skin Care Tips for Summer: Keeping Your Glow On Point

Summer is almost over, but the summer weather not so much, and our skins are feeling it!
If someone knows about making the skin look beautiful, it is one of our makeup artists, Kate Chavez. Kate is not only a Makeup Artist but also a licensed Esthetician, so if someone knows about this, it is her!
We sat down with our fabulous Kate, and she gave us five amazing tips. So, if you are struggling and also have sensitive skin, here is the tea!
1. Double Up on Cleansing Keeping the excess dirt, oil, and dead skin at bay is crucial in tropical weather. Make sure to cleanse your skin twice a day to ensure your pores stay clear and your complexion stays fresh.

2. Exfoliation: The Key to Radiance Exfoliation takes center stage in your summer skincare routine. Not only does it eliminate excess dead skin cells, but it also maintains a desirable skin texture. Depending on your skin’s needs, opt for an enzyme exfoliator with ingredients like pumpkin, papaya, and pineapple, or choose gentle chemical exfoliators like AHAs, BHAs, PHAs, glycolic acid, lactic acid, or mandelic acid.

3. Embrace the Toning Ritual Toning is your skin’s best friend during summer. It soothes your skin, preps it for the next steps, and rebalances your pH levels, setting the stage for healthy skin.

- Aloe Vera
- Avocado Oil
- Shea butter
- Allantoin

- Colloidal oatmeal
5. Seal the Deal with Moisturization The final step in your routine is moisturization. Opt for lightweight moisturizers during the day and richer options at night. Look for products containing:
