Rihanna’s LVMH Fenty Line is Over, so What’s Left?

LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) has just announced the termination of Rihanna’s Fenty clothing line. On the heels of the most incredible fashion show to date, the ultra-luxury conglomerate decided the ready-to-wear luxury brand would no longer exist after just two years in existence. 

This of course does not mean Rihanna’s fashion empire has come crashing down on her umbrella ella-ella eh-eh, it just means that the focus will be on the more successful and rapidly growing brand Fenty Beauty. The story which was covered by Hypebeast.com goes on to elaborate on the mutual decision made between Rihanna and LVMH to continue to focus on all things Riri including beauty products, cosmetics, skincare and of course, lingerie. 

By positioning themselves as pioneers in the inclusive beauty brand space, Fenty Beauty has raked in over half a million dollars in sales in just a year and is projected to grow exponentially, meaning full effort is going to making the stronger brands grow faster. Rihanna’s net worth will continue to grow through. Perhaps there was too much on their plate, or maybe it just wasn’t the time for Fenty, but all I know is I better see more Bad Bunny in fashion shows!
