Olivia Goncalves’ Cast As the Lead Of Gordita Chronicles

Newcomer Olivia Goncalves will give life to Carlota “Cucu” Castelli, a willful 12-year-old Dominican immigrant with a heart of gold on the upcoming HBO Max series, The Gordita Chronicles.

Cucu leaves her home in Santo Domingo to live in Miami and pursue the American Dream during the ’80s after her father, a marketing executive with a large airline, gets transferred there. Cucu meets all the challenges you can think of for being an immigrant in a weird new world with laughs, and some tears too.
