MTV Cribs is Back with New Episodes

MTV Cribs will return to air according to MTV and the first episode will take us on a tour through the houses of Big Sean and Rick Ross. We all remember watching MTV Cribs back in the day and the format isn’t going to change. When you tune in to new episodes of MTV Cribs, you’ll spend half an hour walking a mile in the comfy casa of your favorite… or least favorite celebrities.

Back in the day some of our favorite episodes were, for example, Chris Pontius of MTV’s Jackass series ones did a cribs episode where he showed off the truck he lived in… of course before buying a really cool canyon house. Other memorable episodes include Missy Elliott’s unfathomable new york mansion, and of course the classic episode featuring the naive and awe-struck Osbourne kids who couldn’t believe MTV was in their homes. They of course went on to become shining beacons exemplifying the very upper limits of colonial white privilege! You can check out the MTV Cribs trailer.

Now, since the series aired there’s been a lot of rumors going around about which celebs actually own their houses and which one may have rented or staged a house just to show off. We’ll see if this same controversy is churned up in a time where we’re all chismosos and can find out anything about anyone within minutes online. MTV Cribs air date is August 11th and we can’t wait to knock on the door and check out how celebs are living it up while we all dream of moving out of our casas.
