Latinx Tech Leaders Join Apple’s First-Ever Entrepreneur Camp

Nine standout app companies from the US, Brazil, Guatemala, and Portugal get a chance to build the next generation of cutting-edge apps thanks to Apple’s first-ever Entrepreneur Camp for Latin founders. This is the first time Apple has dedicated their signature immersive developers camp for Latin founders in hopes to inspire a whole new generation of Hispanic and Latinx leaders to enter the world of tech.
The first class was launched in 2019 for women founders, and last year, Apple launched the inaugural program for Black founders. This marks an impactful moment in the expansion of the Apple Entrepreneur Camp, an immersive tech lab for app-driven companies founded and led by developers from underrepresented backgrounds.

Matheus Fogiatto, Daniela Aires dos Res, and Rodrigo Giglio built Sinq as a tool to motivate people to exercise, with the help of a digitized companion.
Apple has an impressive slate of Hispanic and Latin founders that took part in the program this month, whose apps are leveraging the power of technology to share culture, provide resources and bring people together. We believe that this group of leaders is paving the way for diversity in the tech industry and inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs.

The heart of Apple Entrepreneur Camp is an intensive, hands-on technology lab where you’ll work one on one with Apple experts and engineers to significantly accelerate your app. You’ll also hear from Apple executives and have the opportunity to form relationships with your fellow attendees. At the conclusion of the lab, you’ll present your progress, get feedback, and chat with some of Apple’s most senior leaders.
