Johnny Depp Returns to Jack Sparrow Role for $301M?

Johnny Depp could return to the Disney franchise Pirates of the Caribbean as the beloved Jack Sparrow following a $301M dollar deal reportedly offered to him by Disney. This is according to a source at the Australian entertainment entity PopTopic. So Johnny Depp could be back to starring in blockbuster films in no time.
According to the outlet, the deal is part of basically an apology packet after the drawn-out and very public legal battle between Johnny Depp and his ex Amber Heard. This is what the source said could have been the motivation to reach out to Johnny Depp, “I know corporate sent him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I’m unsure how it was received. But what I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow — so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character,”
This means some time in the near future we could again see Jack Sparrow played by Depp stumbling through the big screen for another installment of the pirate franchise. With a deal worth $301 million it seems they are willing to go above and beyond the $300 million the Heard attorneys said it would take for Johnny to make another Jack Sparrow movie.
According to the source, the deal comes with a charitable donation to the organization of Depp’s choice. It could include not just Pirates of the Caribean 6 the film, but also a Disney Plus Pirates of the Caribean Series.
