Jennifer Lopez and Maluma Explain New Rom-Com ‘Marry Me’

Maluma, Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson are coming together to a theater near you this Valentine’s Day.

Marry Me is a modern love story about fame, marriage and social media in a world where people are looking for something real.  

In the film, JLo plays a powerful music star Kat Valdez, while Maluma, who makes his feature film debut, plays rising music star, Bastian. Both stars are set to tie the knot in front of their fans during a concert in a ceremony to be streamed worldwide while their hit song “Marry Me” climbs the charts.

In a moment of inspired madness, Kat decides to marry Charlie (Owen Wilson), who was dragged to the concert by his daughter Lou (Chloe Coleman, HBO’s Big Little Lies) and his best friend (Sarah Silverman).

What begins as an impulsive reaction turns into an unexpected romance. But when different circumstances conspire to separate them, the universal question arises: can two people from worlds so different close the chasm that separates them and build a place where they both belong?
