Holidays Movies to Watch with Latino Cast

It’s beginning to look a lot like…the Holidays! What a better way to celebrate than around good food, friends, family and a feel-good movie? And if there is latino cast in there, even better. Here are the top 5 Holiday’s movies you shouldn’t miss:

1 – The Best Christmas Pageant Ever with Vanessa Benavente.: The Herdmans are absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, they steal, they bully…and now they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. Directed by Dallas Jenkins (“The Chosen”) and based on the international bestseller by Barbara Robinson, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace (Judy Greer) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter Beth (Molly Belle Wright) and husband Bob (Pete Holmes) are in over their heads, especially against a town that wants them to kick the Herdmans out. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas.

2 – The Naughty Nine with Camila Rodriguez and directed by Alberto Belli.  Mischievous fifth grader Andy finds himself without a visit or presents from Santa on Christmas morning. Realizing he must have landed on the “naughty list” and feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a team of eight other “naughty listers” to help him execute an elaborate heist at the North Pole to get the presents they feel they deserve. Along the way, the group comes to realize that the very best way off the naughty list is to redirect their unique talents for good — instead of mischief.

3. Christmas Again?! with Scarlet Estevez, Rowena “Ro” (Estevez), a high-spirited 11-year-old, is hoping to add more spunk to her Christmas celebrations when her parents’ (Sunjata and Carra) divorce is going anything but smoothly. Hoping to get things back to the way they were before her father’s new girlfriend and her son entered the scene, she makes a wish to a tall Santa. However, her Christmas wish goes awry as she finds herself living the same day over and over again. Stuck in this endless loop, she must learn to love her new blended family and learn the true meaning of Christmas.
