Jessica Vargas, Multicultural Marketing Director at HBO Max and HBO had a very powerful quote: “We were HBO Latino for a very long time. We just changed our names, we rebranded, got a little more coqueta, and now we’re HBO Max Pa’lante! And the goal of our programming is to elevate Latinos in front, behind and on the side of HBO Max programming. And not just Latino programming — we watch ‘Game of Thrones,’ we watch ‘John Oliver,’ we watch ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and we want to elevate that programming too.”
