Fate: The Winx Saga hits Netflix in January

Fate: The Winx Saga starring Abigail Cowen is coming to Netflix this January 22nd bringing a whole different kind of creature to the streaming world… fairies! Based on the kids cartoon series and penned by Brian Young, one of The Vampire Diaries writers, the series promises to bring live action to the beloved franchise. It’s delivering more magic than Bad Bunny at the WWE.
The plot will follow Bloom, played by Abigail Cowen (from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as she enrolls in school at Alfea to discover her true identity an hone her powers as a wingless fairy. That’s where she meets her friends and fairies Aisha, the water fairy (Precious Mustapha), Terra (Eliot Salt) the earth fairy, Musa (Elisha Applebaum) the mind fairy and Stella (Hannah van der Westhuysen) the insufferable royal light fairy. They become fighters for justice, like fairy versions of the young Sara Mora.
For fans of Winx Club on Nickelodeon are going to be thrilled to see Winx Club Netflix style! This will be a live-action companion series they can enjoy as they grow up. We’re looking forward to more magical powers-based series with juicy drama on Netflix because they’ve absolutely nailed the genres with The Witcher, Sabrina and Vampires vs. The Bronx. And we’re also looking forward to the “Shadow and Bone” series.
Also coming back is Mayans MC! We hope to see more inclusive series premiering on streaming that we can cover on LATV where we celebrate inclusion. Also announced is Malia Obama writing for Amazon Prime with Donald Glover.

It’s something we really needed now that so many theatres are closing, that they’re going to have to call the Dove Guy including the Arclight Dome.
