Disney’s new Movie Encanto: Music by Lin-Manuel Miranda

The next animated feature film for Disney is called Encanto and will take place in Colombia. The film will be a musical and the main characters are from a Latino family! According to the Disney Animation twitter, the movie will be directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush and the music will is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda so you know the Encanto cast will feature a handful of our favorite Disney stars. After Coco, we can’t help but be extra excited for Disney Animation to take on another Latinx storyline and hire consultants like Lalo Alcaraz as consultants.
