Daddy Yankee and Roselyn Sanchez to Host a Historic NYE from Puerto Rico

The iconic Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin‘ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022 will feature the reggaeton superstar and San Juan native Daddy Yankee to provide a spectacular performance in his hometown.

The show also added Puerto Rican actress and singer Roselyn Sánchez as a co-host to oversee the historic New Year’s Eve festivities in Puerto Rico. The island is the inaugural destination for the show’s first countdown in Spanish. The New Years party will take place on the grounds of the Puerto Rico Convention Center in DISTRITO, the newest entertainment and nightlife complex in Puerto Rico. 

Sánchez joins the show’s previously announced star-studded lineup, which includes host and executive producer Ryan Seacrest, from Times Square with first-time co-host Liza Koshy, co-host Ciara will be headlining the Los Angeles party and New Orleans co-host Billy Porter. POWERBALL correspondent Jessie James Decker, will announce the “POWERBALL First Millionaire of the Year” live from New York.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2022 will air live on Friday, December 31st, starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Puerto Rico’s countdown is set for 11 p.m. ET.
