Camila Cabello Stars in New Cinderella 2021 Trailer!

Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for their take on CINDERELLA featuring Camila Cabello, available to stream September 3. The new take on the classic tale of midnight pumpkinning includes an incredible all-star cast with the likes of  Idina Nicholas Galitzine, Billy Porter, Menzel, Minnie Driver, James Corden,  and Pierce Brosnan.

The upgraded take on the old story makes Cinderella into a young entrepreneur instead of a weeping seamstress or whatever. Starring Camila Cabello as Cinderella the plotline follows less of a rags-to-riches storyline and more a work-life balance storyline… plus an unfathomable castle and a very very Brad-looking prince. So we’re pretty sure this iteration of Cinderella is a Pinkafesa.

Of course, Billy Porter of Pose and Broadway fame gives us a glimpse of his scene-stealing performance as the fairy Godmother (Fab-G) in the trailer where we see them transform Cinderella for the ball in a pretty smart pantsuit. The clever lines and humor powering the film come from writer and director Kay Cannon who cut her comedy chops working on 30 Rock and creating the Pitch Perfect franchise.

Originally the movie was supposed to premiere in theatres, but Sony decided to license the project to Amazon for release on prime due to the dramatic times we live in. The Cinderella 2021 release date is September 3rd on Amazon Prime.
