Behind Her Eyes Movie Review | Latin Tomates

If you are in the mood for something unexpected and twisty, you should watch Behind Her Eyes.
The story follows Louise (Simona Brown), a single mother who has an affair with her psychiatrist boss David (Tom Bateman). It’s a story we have seen many times, right? The prohibited love affair. Not just because he is her boss, but also because he is married. However, the story takes a strange turn when she later befriends his mentally ill, but very enigmatic wife Adele (Eve Hewson) and finds herself caught in a love triangle where nothing is what it seems. You could also argue that we have seen that story too, most recently in the Undoing with Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant and up and Matilda De Angelis. But what you haven’t imagined just yet is the supernatural twist in Behind Her Eyes, which leaves you with a “WTF did I just see” type of reaction.
Even though I wasn’t very fond of the ending, the series holds up pretty well until then. And what’s not to love about a thrilling, psychotic love triangle?
Here is our “Latin Tomates” rating:
Behind Her Eyes is produced by Left Bank Pictures (The Crown) and written by Steve Lightfoot and Angela LaManna, based on the best-selling novel by Sarah Pinborough.
