The Most Wanted Tour: A Triumph Amidst Controversy
As Bad Bunny embraced his newfound single status, he celebrated the success of his Most Wanted Tour, which catapulted his latest album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” onto the stage across various US cities. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, kicked off in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 21st, with a 37-song setlist that spanned his entire discography.
Throughout the tour, Bad Bunny surprised his fans with guest appearances, including Eladio Carrión, Young Miko, Feid, Bryant Myers, and Mora. The tour’s success, evidenced by gross revenue of $84.2 million and 282,000 tickets sold across the initial 18 shows, affirms Bad Bunny’s status as a global star.

However, Bad Bunny found himself in the middle of a controversy following his unconventional stage entrance riding a horse. This action angered fans, social media users, and activist groups- particularly PETA- who condemned the use of animals in entertainment settings.
PETA stated: “Bad Bunny: Using a horse for your tour is cruel and irresponsible. The horse, your fans, or you could have been hurt. No estamos bien over this irresponsible act. Why did you think it was a good idea to expose a horse to the noise, lights, fog, and screams of thousands of people? The horse looks stressed and clearly DOESN’T WANT TO BE THERE. Please, do not include animals in your shows. They want to live in peace, and not be used for your spectacle.”
Legal Battles and Fashion Fumbles
But that wasn’t the only controversy making headlines. Bad Bunny sued a fan, Eric Guillermo Madronal Garrone, for copyright infringement after he uploaded unauthorized videos of one of his concerts in Salt Lake City on YouTube. Madronal Garrone, known by the handle MADforliveMUSIC, recorded the entire performance using professional equipment from a prime spot in the Delta Center.
Though the videos have since been removed, the channel boasted over 34 thousand subscribers, highlighting its wide reach. Despite requests from Bad Bunny’s legal team and the platform itself to delete the videos, the channel not only refused to do so, but also countersued after their removal, prompting further action from the artist and his advisors.
The lawsuit seeks substantial compensation from Garrone, alleging that he profited from the unauthorized use of Bad Bunny’s performance by monetizing his YouTube channel. Each of the uploaded videos is subject to a $150,000 fine, with additional claims for lost income resulting from the unauthorized publication.

But the controversies don’t end there. Bad Bunny, who is known to experiment with fashion, also faced scrutiny following a photoshoot with Gucci that failed to resonate with fans. The images, featuring the artist adorned in Gucci attire, received negative criticism from social media users, who expressed disappointment with the collaboration and questioned the brand’s choice of ambassador.
“Gucci looked better on Harry Styles,” “I have been a Gucci buyer for many decades and it seems to me that this man has no style, no class or anything,” “I love this brand, but after this publicity it lost quality” and “they fell low,” were just some on the comments left under the Instagram post.
