Bad Bunny’s Album Sparks Stir as Celebrities React to Personal Mentions

Bad Bunny’s latest album, ‘Nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana,’ has set off a whirlwind of reactions, with multiple celebrities finding themselves directly referenced within the tracks. From Belinda’s controversial nods to Shakira’s invitation to collaborate, the album has generated substantial buzz within the entertainment world.

Shakira

In another notable track, ‘Los Pits,’ Bad Bunny responds to Shakira’s famed statement on Music Session #53 with Bizarrap, “Women no longer cry, women make bills (Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan),” emphasizing the shifting dynamics between genders. In his single, Bad Bunny is inspired by this phrase and states that although roles have changed and men also experience suffering, they have never stopped generating income. In his own words: “Now men cry, yes, but without stopping billing.”

In response, Shakira promptly extended an invitation for collaboration, indicating her willingness to ‘bill together.’ However, the Puerto Rican artist is yet to respond to her proposal, leaving fans curious about a potential collaboration between the two icons.

J Balvin

Further stirring the pot, J Balvin addressed the song ‘Thunder y Lightning,’ in which Bad Bunny compares their differing social circles. In this song, the Puerto Rican says clearly: “You have seen me, I always hang out with the same people, while you are friends of the whole world like Balvin.”

Balvin did not take long to react and he shared a video on Instagram stating: “We supported each other, we made another story, we created a new story, I believe, within music. I don’t understand what’s going on in your mind, I really don’t understand, but I know that the person I know seems to be a good person, so that really makes me wonder.”

J Balvin expressed his confusion but maintained his positive perception of Bad Bunny, highlighting their past collaborations and their shared musical journey.

Belinda

In one of the standout tracks, ‘Perro Negro,’ Bad Bunny pays homage to Belinda’s allure and ability to captivate those around her, drawing inspiration from the Mexican artist’s recent emotional entanglements, including her well-publicized split from Christian Nodal.

“I want you to get out of my mind and put you in my bed, because, heh. You have a face that has a pretty pussy. You leave them crazy, enchulao’ like Belinda. Shake my buttons until I give up. A son at the disco, I’m going to get you pregnant.”

But Bad Bunny didn’t end there. In the song ‘VOU 787’ he mentions the twins Mariana and Silvana, from the soap opera Cómplices al Rescate, a character played by Belinda a few decades ago. “I don’t speak in English, American, I look like a model, French Guyana, if I were a woman, I were Madonna, I was Rihanna, establishing fashion, Mariana and Silvana… mmm, yes,” he sings.

It all comes from an interview that Beli gave around that time to the media, who questioned her about the supposed rivalry that existed between her and Daniela Luján, two of the most beloved and well-known child actresses of the time, to which the singer responded with one of the phrases that Bad Bunny mentions in that phrase.

“Well, the truth is I don’t see her as competition, she is totally different from me, she, for example, does not impose fashion… she is a girl, she is an actress but she is not a singer and she does not impose a fashion either, I see her Normally she wears the Televisa costumes and I don’t, I really like to impose a lot of fashion for all the girls to be an example to follow,” she said at the time.

Reacting to her mentions in the album, Belinda took to her Instagram stories, stating, “This interview will haunt me for the rest of my days!”

Laura Bozzo

Meanwhile, the surprise mention of television personality Laura Bozzo in the track ‘Nadie Sabe’ caused quite a stir, particularly for the Peruvian sensation herself, who found out about her inclusion while confined in the Big Brother Vip Spain house. Upon learning about the reference, Bozzo’s excitement was palpable, leading to a lively discussion among the housemates about her substantial presence in the Latin American entertainment landscape.

“Hey, people have to stop being so stupid and thinking. Who knows the lives of famous people? Wow, so many podcasts, so many slimy. Today I woke up hating ‘like Laura Bozzo,” he sings.
