Amara La Negra Loves Thrifting: ‘La Charla’ Hosts Discuss Fashion!

As you already know, at LATV we have a new show specially designed for you and your best friends. We’re talking about La Charla, the new series where Amara La Negra, Rocsi Diaz and Marycarmen Lopez Schulman address various current issues in a fresh, entertaining way.

La Charla is broken down into four parts that you can watch and enjoy exclusively on our app, LATV+. On the first episode, the girls talked about what friendship means to them, questioned if it really exists between women and inquired about the different experiences each one of them have had with their friends throughout their lives.

In this second chapter, Amara, Rocsi and Marycarmen are going to talk about fashion. Who doesn’t enjoy and care about fashion, nowadays? Who doesn’t like to look and feel their best? Clearly, the clothes we wear and the style we opt for on each occasion are tremendously important.

So on this episode, the girls, who all have careers in the world of entertainment and television, will deliberate on what each one of them has in their closet. Among some of the different topics that they will discuss will be the kinds of purchases that the women in their families have made, and our hosts will come with another fun proposal for you.

You will most likely want to talk about everything said here with your friends afterwards because, generally, women like fashion more than men…right? Or is it the other way around? Will that be another one of the topics discussed? Maybe.

There are some fundamental questions that Rosci, Marycarmen and Amara La Negra ask themselves: is it okay to wear the same dress for different events? Or, if a dress isn’t expensive, does it still qualify as fashion? Is it necessary to have a lot of money in order to be able to dress well? Or is it just a matter of attitude and who is wearing it?

The girls will also discuss the importance of accessories and clothing items that even when they are old, are hard to let go of because of the “emotional bond” we as humans establish with our material possessions. The kind of items we find ourselves holding onto forever, unable to part with or move on from.

How about you?  Are you into fashion? Do you follow the latest fashion trends?  Do you agree or disagree with what the hosts of the series La Charla have to say?

Different opinions are always welcome and debate is healthy. We invite you to share your ideas with your groups of friends and have a “charla” (chat) about it.
