Yes Day’ Jenna Ortega | Exclusive Interview

Have you ever heard of the concept of a “Yes Day?” By the name, you might guess what it entails…and that’s what this feel-good family movie is all about.
In a world where saying NO to their kids and co-workers is the norm, Allison (Jennifer Garner) and Carlos (Edgar Ramirez) decide to give their three kids a YES DAY — where, for 24 hours, the kids make the rules. Little did they know, Allison and Carlos would be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles that would bring the family closer together than ever before.
This Netflix family comedy was based on a children’s book Jennifer Garner loved, so she approached director Miguel Arteta whom she had worked with (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) to develop it into a feature. For the director, it was important to feature a multicultural family, and Garner (who also served as producer) agreed with that sentiment.
We got to talk to Jenna Ortega who plays the eldest sister. [jwp-video n=”1″]
