Xolo Maridueña Recaps Cobra Kai Season 3

While we all anxiously await season 4 of Cobra Kai on Netflix, we got the chance to talk with Xolo Maridueña (Miguel Diaz) about the show. Most recently, we were able to catch up with him on Instagram during the filming of season 4 in Atlanta, amassing over 10,000 live viewers! We also were able to speak with him a few weeks before that about his take on season 3.

After its release, Cobra Kai received rave reviews from the press. Due to Maridueña’s popularity on the show, he was featured in the “Up Next” section of Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood Issue. He was also nominated for a 2018 Teen Choice Award in the Choice Summer TV Star category, and Cobra Kai was nominated for Choice Summer TV Show.

Before Cobra Kai, Maridueña was best known to audiences for his role as Victor Braverman on NBC’s hit series Parenthood. His performance earned him a nomination for an Imagen Award in the Best Young Actor/Television category and recognition as one of Latina Magazine’s 50 Brightest Stars under 25. He was also acknowledged for “Channeling Latino Talent” at the ALMA Awards.
