Patrick Luna discovered his passion for music a few years ago, in the heart of Mexico City. As a 13-year-old young boy, little did he know this love for music would carry him across borders and into the world of the global music scene. Today, as an emerging Latin artist, songwriter, and producer, Patrick Luna, often referred to simply as “Luna,” is bringing his take on music with his infectious beats and bilingual lyrics.

Who is Patrick Luna?

Born in Mexico City and raised in Miami, Luna’s musical journey has been as diverse as his upbringing. From a young age, Luna was captivated by the sounds of R&B, Latin pop, and electronic music, which would later become the foundation of his unique musical style.

It was in the streets of Miami where Luna began to forge his musical identity, experimenting with different genres and languages to create a sound that resonates with la cultura, representing his Latin roots.

Luna’s talent soon caught the attention of important names in the industry, leading him to sign a publishing deal with Prescription Songs in the summer of 2021. Through this partnership, Luna not only writes songs for himself but also collaborates with other , helping him to solidify his place in the music industry.

Luna’s breakthrough moment came with his appearance on Timbo Idol, a TikTok show hosted by legendary producer Timbaland. In our exclusive interview with Patrick for Cultura Shock at LATV, the singer reflected on the experience and recalled: “That was super cool for me. I grew up learning about huge producers like Timbaland.”

“And he has this show on TikTok… it’s one of those things that you always see and try to join but is full. But one day I was lucky enough that he heard my music, and he liked it and he showed me on his show which was a really big thing for me,” Luna added.

Now calling the city of Los Angeles his home, the young artist continues to win fans over with his infectious energy on both social media and on stage. His hit single “Amor o Fantasia” has garnered over 200 thousand plays on Spotify and its music video has racked more than 42 thousand views on YouTube… and counting.

But beyond the numbers, Luna remains deeply connected to his roots and the artists who have inspired him along his journey. “My musical influences are Sin Bandera, Enrique Iglesias,” he revealed.

As Luna’s star continues to rise, his message remains clear: music knows no boundaries. With each beat and lyric, the singer invites listeners to a celebration of cultural diversity.
