Karol G Finally Tells Us How Her Love Story With Feid Began
Karol G is having a moment. Professionally, she’s on top of the world. Personally, she’s glowing. And at the center of it all is her relationship with fellow artist Feid. Even though they like to keep things low-key, when they do show up together or drop a photo, their fans go wild.
This week, after the release of her Netflix documentary Mañana Fue Muy Bonito, fans finally learned how it all started between Karol and Feid. In one scene, Karol G opens up about a Nintendo night that kicked everything off.
“I remember when we had a Nintendo competition and there was a bit of flirting going on, we started playing footsie, said our goodbyes, and then, with him being the charming guy from Medellín that he is, he gave me a little kiss on the corner of my mouth and I got the message… Before I knew it, I was already writing love songs,” she shared.

The sparks were flying even before they teamed up for their first song, “Friki,” back in 2022. After they collaborated, the buzz really started. But it wasn’t until the middle of 2023, when they were spotted holding hands in public, that their relationship got the official stamp of approval.
Since then, they’ve kept their relationship pretty under wraps. But Karol couldn’t help but share some adorable pictures on ‘Boyfriend Posting Day.’ There were cozy in-bed moments, laid-back dates with beers, and even some glammed-up shots from her documentary premiere. She captioned them with, “Find someone who looks at you like Carolina and Toguita look at Salomón.”
Who are Karol G’s ex-boyfriends?
Before Feid, Karol’s love life had its share of headlines. Her most talked-about relationship was with Anuel AA. They got together in 2018 during the rise of her career. It lasted three years but ended in 2021. At first, it seemed like a clean break. But then came the back-and-forth. Anuel felt she was throwing shade in her song “Mamiii” with Becky G. Lyrics like “I know I was too much woman for you, and you didn’t see it because you’re an idiot” hit a nerve. Anuel responded online, saying, “I laugh. And then they say I’m the one stuck in the past. This isn’t like it used to be. I’m not the one still dedicating songs after all this time.”
He also hinted that he was keeping quiet about things he could say. “Think whatever you want. If people only knew,” he added. Even after breaking up with his next partner, Yailin, he kept bringing up Karol: dedicating songs, posting videos, sleeping next to a shirt with her face, and even taking jabs at Feid. At a concert, he changed the lyrics to tease, “Did Feid leave her?” and posted a photo with a sign that read “F*** Ferxxo,” adding, “This one’s for your boyfriend, baby.”

Before all that drama, Karol had some more low-key romances. When she was just 16, she dated DJ Cheztom, who was working with Reykon at the time. It was short, sweet, and still remembered fondly. Years later, he said, “We were so young, it was nice, it was an experience. Now she’s killing it and I’m working on my projects.”
Back in 2015-2016, fans picked up on some sparks flying between Karol and Ovy on the Drums. They never straight-up confirmed it, but their flirty social media exchanges and the song “El Cairo” kept everyone guessing.

Next up was Bull Nene in 2017. Their relationship went on for about a year. They ended it to focus on their careers, but it was messy. Nene later admitted in an interview, “In my career, I was like a ninja, always behind the scenes, and I liked it that way. I only got attention because I dated Karol, and even more when we broke up. I faced a lot of bullying, but I’m over it now. People still link me with that, not with my music, and that’s alright.” He eventually moved on and had a daughter with Carolina Osorio, J Balvin’s sister.

Now, with Feid, everything feels different. There’s respect, support, and they genuinely seem happy. Karol G is stepping into a new chapter, one that’s more about joy than drama. Even though she’s not the most public about her personal life, when she does reveal a bit, it’s obvious: La Bichota is in love, and she couldn’t be happier.
