What does Dia de los Muertos Mean?

On this Noviembre Second edition of The Big Deal, the hosts talk about El Dia De Los Muertos and what impact it has and how it compares to Halloween. Many of us Latinos are getting more curious about our traditions and one of the major ones that was made popular in American culture by the movie Coco is Dia De Los Muertos.
El Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the dead is when people in Mexico celebrate the dead. This edition of The Big Deal on The Zoo compares the holiday to what we know here as Halloween.
While some people prefer Dia De Los Muertos to Halloween… especially Mexican people like Vivianne, there’s no reason not to celebrate Halloween AND the Day of The Dead
