Natalia Jiménez was born on December 29th, 1981, in Madrid, Spain. Her musical journey started at a young age, performing in the metro stations of her hometown, Madrid, as a teenager. Her raw talent and determination soon led her to join various musical groups.
However, it was in the early 2000s that Natalia embarked on a life-changing adventure. She joined “La 5ta. Season” and set her sights on Mexico, following in the footsteps of many Spanish artists who had already found success there. Little did she know that this move would be the beginning of an extraordinary career.

Relocating to Miami, Natalia began a new chapter in her life, focusing on her most ambitious project yet: her debut solo album. Her self-titled album was released on June 21st, 2011 and it marked a significant turning point in her career. Notably, she co-produced the album alongside the legendary Emilio Estefan, demonstrating her artistic growth and versatility.
The debut album broke records in digital sales during its first week of release. Its first single, “Por ser tu mujer,” also had an English version titled “I’ll Do What It Takes,” with a translation provided by Natalia herself and Gloria Estefan.
Jiménez’s career has been marked by numerous milestones, from performing at the Puerto Rico Coliseum in front of over 8,000 fans to gracing the stage of New York City’s iconic Radio City Music Hall.
Not only did Natalia’s solo career conquer the Latin music scene, but she also had the opportunity to collaborate with other renowned Latino artists. Her duets with Marc Anthony in “Recuérdame,” Ricky Martin in “Lo mejor de mi vida eres tú,” and Ednita Nazario in “No” became chart-toppers and fan favorites.
In April 2013, she expanded her repertoire by collaborating with Daddy Yankee on the hit song “La Noche de los Dos.” Meanwhile, she continued to evolve her sound, working on her second solo album, which she teased would feature a blend of ballads, contemporary pop, and electronic music.
Natalia Jiménez’s solo career continued to soar with the release of “Creo en Mí” on March 17th, 2015. The album featured 11 tracks, with the self-titled song serving as the lead single.
Then, in early 2020, Natalia partnered with Leo Dan to reintroduce the world to the Argentine classic, “Cuando un Amor se Va.” Her ability to reimagine and breathe new life into timeless songs has consistently endeared her to audiences worldwide.
