WandaVision – A Thriller In Disguise

For all those Marvel fans out there, WandaVision is going to bring you the best of the good ol’ sitcoms as well as some mysterious, thrilling new realities a la “Westworld” – a combination that we haven’t really seen on television.

But what is Wandavision about? The show, which takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), at first glance seems like a playful satire on family sitcoms in which Wanda and Vision play a happily married couple dealing with mundane problems like disastrous dinner parties and noisy neighbors. However, the audience soon begins to realize that there is more to their story…

Who is the villain in WandaVision? That’s actually a great question – and we don’t have an answer yet. What we do know is that Wanda is much more than the adorable housewife she plays on screen. And we learn that through Monica who, as she goes “off script,” gets shoved out of Wanda’s bubble – quite literally.
