We Experienced Everything that is New at Walt Disney World!

Walt Disney World has always been one of the most magical places on Earth, so getting to experience it as a guest and discovering everything new, has to be one of the best experiences a Disney fan can have. We spent a week exploring all the offerings across Walt Disney World Resort’s theme parks. From villains to pirates, there was something for everyone.

As we landed in the Florida heat, LatiNation was present at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. A night full of spooktacular surprises, entertainment, and treats. And when we say treats, we mean filling up a bag with full-size candy while trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom.

Mickey and Minnie were even rocking new neon spider-web attire that made every photo with them look extra magical. But a real highlight was meeting Jack Sparrow. It was unforgettable getting to meet and chat with some of our favorite Disney characters.

Of course, we can’t forget about the food. This year, there are new Halloween-themed offerings across the park that will have you going back for seconds. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom from August 15 through October 31, 2025.

The following day brought even more Halloween surprises. What, you thought the fun ended there? We had brunch at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where we enjoyed a character dining experience with Mickey, Minnie, and friends, all dressed in their Halloween best. The food was delicious, and the photos with the characters were iconic.

After filling up our bellies and our hearts, it was time to explore the new offerings at Hollywood Studios. First stop: the brand-new show Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, where Disney’s most infamous villains come to life in a dazzling musical performance. Standouts included Captain Hook, the Evil Queen, and Cruella. The production is one you truly have to see to believe.

To balance things out, we needed some non-villain magic, so we checked out the newly reimagined The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure. This show completely blew us away. The way they elevated it from its previous version makes it worth seeing more than once.

That night, we returned to Magic Kingdom to close the day with the new nighttime parade Starlight: Dream the Night Away. Hosted by the Blue Fairy, the parade transforms some of Disney’s most iconic characters into illuminated fantasies. Watching it from Liberty Bridge was nothing short of breathtaking.

On the third day of our adventure, we headed to EPCOT, starting with the brand-new lounge Geo-82. A chic, elevated space designed for adults to relax with a cocktail.

Next, we had to ride the newly upgraded Test Track. With stunning new visuals, the ride is now more epic than ever!

Later that day came the main event: the Play ‘N’ Preview, where Walt Disney World announced exciting new additions. Two standout announcements were: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster being reimagined with The Muppets, and Animal Kingdom’s Tree of Life debuting a new attraction: Zootopia: Better Zoogether, opening November 7th.

On our final day of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, we got a first look at the brand-new Pirates of the Caribbean themed restaurant Beak and Barrel. We explored the space, sampled food and drinks, and even sang along with pirates. Fans of the franchise are going to love this addition to Magic Kingdom when it officially opens on August 29th. Although reservations are now open. You can make yours here

As our magical experience came to an end, we couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear. We didn’t just visit Walt Disney World, we experienced it like never before. So it’s safe to say: if you haven’t been to Walt Disney World lately, you just haven’t been.
