Vanessa Bryant ends Kobe Nike Partnership

Vanessa Bryant, wife of the late Kobe Bryant has decided to part ways with Nike after being frustrated by Nike’s lack of Kobe products specifically for kids. In an interview with ESPN Vannessa said

“Kobe’s Nike contract expired on 4/13/21, Kobe and Nike have made some of the most beautiful basketball shoes of all time, worn and adored by fans and athletes in all sports across the globe. It seems fitting that more NBA players wear my husband’s product than any other signature shoe.”

It seems like the Bryant Nike feud is only heating up.

With the Kobe Bryant estate reportedly out at Nike, it seems like the perfect time to launch the “Mamba” shoe company Kobe was allegedly working on in his final days. Kobe was allegedly working with Virgin Hyperloop co-founder Shervin Pishevar on his new Mamba brand as recently as 2019.
