Top Moments from The 2021 Premios Juventud

The award show fiesta of the Summer, Los Premios Juventud, went down Thursday night in Miami bringing together every Latino artist whose music we’ve been following for years.

Becky G, Karol G, Chino y Nacho, Sebastián Yatra, and even Latino music vets, Ricky Martin and Pitbull made an appearance at the Watsco Center where they turned the vibes all the way up!

#SOSCuba. With an emotional performance bringing awareness to Cuba’s current political situation, Mr.Worldwide AKA Pitbull sang along with Emilio Estefan and other Cuban artists.

Karol G took the stage to sing her latest single ranchera style track alongside mariachis looking like an absolute princess in a yellow gown. The Colombian singer also took home six Premios Juventud from her twelve nominations. She dedicated her awards to the fans and some of her fellow female urban artists she shared nominations with, like Becky G and Natti Natasha.

A powerful duo that made a comeback to the stage for the first time since they separated in 2017 was Chino y Nacho. The pair sang a medley of their best songs and announced a new upcoming album. Just hours before, Chyno Miranda shared on social media some of the medical struggles he’s been going through for almost a year since he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Among other heartwarming moments, Dominican bombshell (and now the mother of a beautiful baby girl) Natti Natasha, took her whole family, hubby Raphy Piña and sons, up to the stage to accept her Premio for winning the “Juntos Encienden Mis Redes” category.

Sebastián Yatra, one of the hosts of the night, and Myke Towers opened the show with a performance of their catchy single, “Pareja del Año.”
