The Met Gala 2021 on for September

Anna Wintour, the shining beacon of white privilege announced that the Met Gala is officially going to take place in September of this year. The theme for this year’s event will be “American Style” and is going to be the closing event of New York Fashion Week. The event will be paired with two Costume institute shows, the first is “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” and the second is “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” The previous edition of the gala was postponed leaving many wondering, when is the Met Gala 2021?

The Met Gala is the event put on by the New York Metropolitan Museum, where the latest in fashion is showcased by movie stars and sundry snobs. Unless they invite Bad Bunny, who we can’t wait to see at something like this.

Meanwhile after hearing the theme is “American Style” Twitter erupted with roasts on what American styles is and what the gala could look like.
