The Latina Voices on Two of the Most Popular Shows at Disney+

In this last week of Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to highlight two Latinas who are killing it on Disney+, Alisa Reyes and Carolina Ravassa.
Alisa gives life to LaCienega Boulevardez in Disney+’s The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, the acclaimed revival of the groundbreaking animated series The Proud Family and Carolina is the charming voice behind in Hamster and Gretel.
The two actresses were on our last taping of Get it Girl and we got to know them a little more. Carolina, who is originally from Colombia, told us that when she moved to the U.S. and started the audition process she “was hitting a lot of walls,” that’s how she started producing, directing and writing as well. Now she is happy to be part of the Disney family with this super fun animated show, Hamster and Gretel the new show on Disney+, where Carolina plays Hamster’s mom, Gretel.
“I love to do voice work because it doesn’t matter what we look like; you can play anything.” – Carolina
You can catch Hamster and Gretel now, on Disney+. And for the fans of The Proud Family; Louder and Prouder, season two is coming up on February 2023 and Alisa got to tell s a little bit about this endearing family and what it feels to be a Latina in Hollywood.
