What to expect?

The Super Bowl is not solely a game. The NFL will have Super Bowl week with many different events for fans to enjoy. They kick off things with their “Super Bowl Opening Night fueled by Gatorade” in downtown Las Vegas on Monday, February 5, 2024. This night will feature live entertainment, appearances by NFL Legends and mascots, and photo opportunities for fans with their favorite players. The fun won’t stop there, as the NFL will be having a three-day event titled “Super Bowl Experience at Mandalay Bay Convention Center” from February 7-10. This event will include an “NFL football theme park with interactive games like the 40-yard dash, get star player autographs, take photos with the Super Bowl Rings and Vince Lombardi trophy, and visit NFL Shop presented by Visa. It’s the ultimate Super Bowl Week event with fun for all ages,” according to NFL.com.

Halftime performance

One of the main attractions for watching the game isn’t just watching the game. It is a halftime performance. The NFL has had many legends at halftime for the Super Bowl, including Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Madonna, The Weeknd, and The Rolling Stones. Another iconic name is joining the list, and it is R&B and pop music artist Usher. Known for his classic hits “Yeah!”, “My Boo,” and “Confession, Pt. II,” Usher has worked with many different artists in the past, and it’s a wonder whom he will bring on stage with him.

“It’s been a dream of mine and a bucket list, you know, thing to be able to get it,” he said. “You know, they say what is it, Oscar, Tony, Grammy, Emmy, right? You should put [the] Super Bowl there too, right?,” he told Good Morning America.
