This Family of 7 Has Reinvented Mexican Cuisine

“Mexican food” and “gluten-free” are not two concepts that go together often. Personally, I always rolled my eyes when I would hear people asking for gluten-free options at restaurants.
That changed though, when I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and all of a sudden, I was forbidden from eating gluten and other inflammatory foods. Finding alternatives to flour, I stumbled upon Siete, a brand created by a family of seven after one of the daughters was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
As a Mexican-American family from South Texas, tacos and fajitas were like bread and butter for the Garza family. But when Verónica, one of the daughters, could no longer eat gluten, they got creative and began making grain-free tortillas. Veronica knew they had something really special when her Grandma Campos told her that her tortillas tasted better than the homemade flour tortillas she had been making for decades!
Siete Family Foods is a mission-based company, passionate about making and sharing real food and advocating for healthier lifestyles among Latino families with their grain-free products! Check them out in grocery stores nationwide.
