Anakaren Lopez, also known as AK, is an American Latinx On-Air and Digital Talent who is presently hosting and producing LATV’s primetime show Cultura Shock. AK has known that she's wanted to act and be on television since the age of seven as a result of binge-watching Mexican telenovelas and feeling it’s dramatic passion run through her veins. Her name itself comes from one, so she is stepping into her destiny. As the host of Cultura Shock, she contextualizes the guest’s intersections of culture for fresh eyes, whether it’s a celebrity or a random pedestrian at Venice Beach. No matter the person, AK creates lively conversations that break the typical interview mold, providing a more rewarding experience for both the talent and the audience.
