Shades of Beauty’ welcomes its new co-host, Zashia Santiago

Zashia Santiago, the new co-host of the third season of Shades of Beauty at LATV, brings with her a rich background of experiences plus a contagious energy that will resonate with viewers. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, to a Dominican father and El Salvadorian mother, she grew up in a loving household loving that embraced her Afro-Latina roots.

Born on August 17th, 1989, in Miami, Florida, Zashia Santiago has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, with over 15 years of experience under her belt, as a comedian, actress, and TV personality. She was also featured in a few music videos, such as Ace Hood’s “Bugatti.” In addition to her accomplishments in entertainment, Zashia also holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing, showcasing her diverse array of talents.

While she is proud of her professional endeavors, it is her role as a mother of three that she holds dear to her heart. Although her relationship with Hymn, with whom she shares two children, Harmony and Cairo, ultimately came to an end in 2023, they both played integral parts in the YouTube channel, The Family Project. Zashia’s eldest son, Isaiah, now 19, comes from a previous relationship.

Currently residing in Los Angeles, Zashia proudly identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Her openness and authenticity shine through in every aspect of her life, and, alongside her girlfriend, Taylor Tate, a Behavioral Change Fitness Trainer, Zashia continues to inspire and uplift audiences, proving that beauty knows no bounds.

As the new co-host of Shades of Beauty, Zashia brings a fresh perspective to the series. Unlike conventional beauty shows, Shades of Beauty is centered around Afro-Latina beauty and promises to offer out-of-the-box inspiration as well as practical tips to have you feeling like your best self every day of the week. The show touches on relatable subjects but approaches these conversations from a unique angle, breaking down the beauty stereotypes that are all too prevalent in our current media landscape, and instead diving deep into the many aspects of what beauty really is… at every shape and every shade.
