Queer as Folk Reboot coming to Peacock Streaming

It’s official, official Queer as Folk will get a reboot on Peacock for an 8 episode season 1. For it’s time 199-2000, Queer as Folk was known as a breakthrough series for giving a look inside a queer group of friends, their lives, friendships, and struggles… but in true retro fashion, the storylines centered around white characters and white storylines. We have no word yet on the Queer as Folk reboot cast, but we’ll keep an eye out for announcements.

The reboot, which was originally a project for Bravo, will take place in New Orleans and promises to bring a diverse cast… and listen honey with Pose ending this season they have some big heels to fill. We’re excited to see some Latinx faces in front of and behind the scenes of this reboot…which TBH seems pretty exciting.
