Pride Month Memes

You don’t necessarily have to be a member of the queer community to notice that over the past several years, corporations have gone all-in on Pride Month. Between the rainbow colored logos and email marketing blasts bombarding our inboxes with friendly shouts of “gayness”, we’ve had enough of their tactics. This is OUR month, OUR choice to make, and OUR lives we’re talking about! So, since we as a society have become so dedicated to celebrating Pride Month –  why not let us, the members involved and leading the movement, do it our way? It’s time for us to recapture the narrative and mend it to be more genuine and playful, sprinkled with a bit of humor.

So let’s push the capitalistic underpinnings of corporate messaging aside and celebrate by rolling in the… MEMES!
