Pride Month Celebrations at LATINATION: A Showcase of Queer Latino Voices

June is here, and with it comes a celebration of Pride Month at LatiNation Network. ¡Feliz Pride!

This month, we’re amplifying the voices of queer Latino artists and storytellers who are making a significant impact in our communities. With a lineup of special programming and events, LatiNation is proud to highlight the creativity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ Latino community.

Storytellers

Our original docu-series, Storytellers, returns with an editorial special that puts the spotlight on queer Latino artists. The upcoming volume of this series promises to be a moving exploration of how these creatives continue the rich tradition of Latino storytelling.

These artists are not only shaping their own narratives but are also being advocates in their communities, using their platforms to inspire and fight for change.

From the kitchen to the stage, make-up warehouses to the ranch, this Pride Month special will take you into the field and cinematically weave between queer storytellers celebrating identity, expression, and confidence through cutting-edge artistry.

Storytellers Pride’s first episode airs Friday, June 7th.

The Q Agenda 100th Episode

This month marks a milestone for The Q Agenda as we celebrate our 100th episode. This iconic episode features trans actress Candis Cayne, who will discuss her groundbreaking entrance into Hollywood and the recent launch of her production company aimed at uplifting trans voices both in front of and behind the camera.

Following Candis, actor and reality star Jai Rodriguez, known for his role in the original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, joins us in the studio. Jai will share his experiences as a Latino and queer person in Hollywood, reflecting on past challenges and the progress made towards inclusivity today.

The second half of this special episode will premiere a compelling 10-minute documentary. This documentary weaves together the personal stories of our four hosts, offering an intimate look at their journeys and perspectives.
