Every Pedro Pascal Project You’ll Be Watching This Year

Pedro Pascal isn’t taking his foot off the gas anytime soon. If you thought you were seeing him everywhere before, just wait until the rest of 2025. From movies to TV shows to major franchises, Pedro’s lineup this year is stacked. Here’s the scoop on everything he’s starring in.

Kicking Off With Freaky Tales

Pedro already kicked off the year strong with the release of “Freaky Tales” on April 4. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (the team behind “Captain Marvel”), this action-comedy set in 1987 Oakland shows Pedro playing a former robber hired for one last crazy job. The movie is like a mixtape of stories, full of wild characters: NBA stars, rap duos, crooked cops, punks, and more. Pedro is part of an all-star cast that includes Normani, Ben Mendelsohn, Angus Cloud, and even Tom Hanks.

As if that wasn’t enough, “The Last of Us” season 2 premiered on HBO on April 13. Pedro is back as Joel Miller, surviving the post-apocalyptic nightmare with Ellie. The second season picks up from the smash hit first season that made him an even bigger star. New episodes are dropping every week, and fans are already reacting to Joel’s fate (especially if you know the video game story).

Joining the Marvel Universe with The Fantastic Four

Then there’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which hits theaters on July 25. Pedro is making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Reed Richards, a.k.a.. Mister Fantastic. Playing one of Marvel’s top superheroes is a big deal. He’ll be teaming up with A-list stars like Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Plus, it’s all gearing up for “Avengers: Doomsday” next year, joining the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes with Sir Patrick Stewart, Florence Pugh, and Chris Hemsworth, and over 20 other famous Marvel faces amongst the cast.

Before “Fantastic Four” hits theaters, Pedro will also star in “Materialists,” coming out on June 13. It’s a romantic comedy directed by Celine Song (the Oscar-nominated “Past Lives”). Pedro plays Randy, a wealthy bachelor who gets caught in a tangled love triangle with Lucy (Dakota Johnson) and her ex John (Chris Evans). It’s being released by A24, so expect it to be smart, emotional, and a little chaotic in the best way.

Big Buzz at Cannes With Eddington

Pedro’s also starring in “Eddington,” set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. It’s directed by Ari Aster, the genius behind “Hereditary” and “Midsommar,” so you know to expect some major weirdness and intensity. This one’s a dark comedy Western taking place in a tiny New Mexico town. Pedro plays Ted Garcia, the town’s mayor, going head-to-head with a sheriff played by Joaquin Phoenix. Plus, you’ve got Emma Stone and Austin Butler joining the cast.

And He’s Still Not Done: The Mandalorian & Grogu

Looking ahead, Pedro is also working on “The Mandalorian & Grogu.” It’s the first “Mandalorian” movie and will continue the story from the Disney+ series. He’ll star alongside Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, and it will release in May 2026.

To sum it all up, Pedro’s taking over streaming, theaters, and even Cannes, proving he’s not just one of the biggest Latino stars in the world, but one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, period. If you love Pedro Pascal, 2025 is basically your dream year. Stay tuned because it looks like this is just the beginning.
