‘Oppenheimer’ Cast Will Include Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr.

Christopher Nolan’s new film Oppenheimer is set to add some major star power to the cast that could include Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy. According to Deadline, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon will join the ensemble cast for the new film based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer who was notorious for running the Manhattan Project, where the atomic bomb was developed. The Oppenheimer film release date is set for July 21, 2023, which means there’s still quite a bit of work to do – and given the Oppenheimer cast, we’re sure this movie is going to be a fitting hit to follow the success of Nolan’s latest flick, Tenet.

Tenet is a big claim to fame for director Christopher Nolan, and not just because of the stunning visual effects of living in a rewound universe, but also because it was one of the defining blockbusters of the stay-at-home movie-watching moment of 2020. It has so far grossed over $360 million at the box office, meaning it’s already bringing in substantial profits from its $200 million price tag.
